Evaluate the importance of women disciples in Mark Essay

Evaluate the importance of women disciples in Mark - Essay ExampleIn the Gospel of Mark, women ar presented as the ones who faithfully remained with savior Christ during His passion till His death3. In the Gospel of Mark we read the following There were also women working on a far off among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less, and of Joses, and Salome Who also, when he was I Galilee, followed him, and ministered unto him and many other women who came up with him unto Jerusalem4 . In the Gospel of Mark therefore, women disciples are contrasted with the male disciples who ran away during the passion of Jesus Christ. Even Simon peter, who had early promised Jesus Christ that he would never abandon him, lastly abandoned Jesus Christ. Women therefore are presented in the Gospel of Mark as faithful disciples, who are ready to endure all manner of sufferings for the interest of their faith.Again, as we have seen in the above quotation, the women who remained fa ithfully with Jesus Christ during his passion had been with Jesus Christ, throughout his ministry, ministering to him. This fact shows that women disciples were quite important in the ministry of Jesus Christ.Besides enduring sufferings and remaining faithfully with Jesus Christ during his passion, women disciples also discovered, as it were, Jesus suffering messiahship before the male disciple. On this view, the feminist tidings scholar Elisabeth Fiorenza in her book, A Feminine Theological Reconstruction of Christian Origins, states that it was a woman who recognized Jesus suffering messiahship, and in a premonitory sign-action, the woman anointed Jesus for his burial, while some of the male disciples of Jesus Christ reprimanded her5. The women disciples in the book of Mark, therefore, are presented as having a clear knowledge of the burster of Jesus Christ as a suffering Messiah. In the Gospel of Mark, in the healing miracles of Jesus Christ, women are portrayed as a impersona te of Jesus Christs

Canadian Economics Policies and employment Research Paper

Canadian Economics Policies and employment - Research Paper ExampleThe control of money supply ultimately leads to the changes in interest rates prevailing in the economy. These changes are generally introduced so as to influence other macroeconomic variables / factors, which include employment trends in the country, balance of payments, aggregate demand and supply and production, inflation rates, etc. It earth-closetnot be stated that there is a uniform or universally acceptable construction or model for devising the pecuniary policy of an economy, and depending on the particular characteristics and issues faced by an economy and the dynamics of national and international financial markets, every country designs its fiscal policy in its own way (Bernanke & Mishkin, 1997). The objective of intervention in the economy by a countrys administration through monetary policy has been largely to influence varying macroeconomic indicators, as mentioned in the previous paragraph however , the techniques and methods of doing so have revolutionized on a continuous basis, which are built upon the conventional mechanisms of controlling inflation, unemployment rates and other variables (McEachern, 2011). The most important change noted in the techniques used to control macroeconomic variables through monetary policy is the shift from direct controlling of money supply through direct intervention of Central Banks to indirect controlling and depending upon market mechanisms and forces to act in a favorable manner (Hirschey, 2009 Nadal, 2001). Keeping in view this background, the present study aims at determining the relationship between monetary policy and inflation trends, with particular reference to the Canadian economy. In this regard, following research question has been formulated, which will be answered on the basis of analysis conducted by researcher in this report. Research Question The research question, which is to be answered in this study on the basis of anal ysis and findings, is What is the nature of relationship between monetary policy and inflation, with specific regard to the Canadian economy? Keeping in view this research question, this study can be considered as an important division to the existing literature pertaining to the relationship between monetary policy and inflation in Canadian economy. Moreover, the fact that this study includes application of various macroeconomic factors and policies, it can therefore be regarded as an important research work for individuals interested in exploring the macroeconomic environment of Canada and how different factors correlate in a unimaginative environment. Research Method Adopted There are two broad approaches of carrying out a research work, which include qualitative and quantitative research approaches. A qualitative research approach requires the researcher to assess information on the basis of its qualitative attributes and aspects. The qualitative research approach may not nec essarily produce quantitative results, as it does not make use of quantitative analysis of the information. Inventory management is identifying the inventory levels that will enable the business to run smoothly without investment in natural materials. This requires the lead times being lowered to reduce Work in Process (WIP) and the finished slap-ups should also be kept as low as possible. This will lead to the reduction of the reordering costs and hence increase cash flow. Debtors management this requires identifying the best credit appliance for the business or the firm. The credit mechanism chosen should be able to attract customers to the firm and also make sure the firm is getting the payments on time from the credit customers. This will be optimized by increasing the revenue thus increasing the Return on Capital. Another aspect of working capital letter management is the Short confines financing, it is achieved by identifying the most appropriate source of short edge funds to run the business this can be achieved by means of credit granted by the supplier. Wester Civilization II paper 4 - Essay Examplestronomy and, after oftentimes deliberation, he presented a heliocentric world view the sun was the centre around which the world and other planets revolved. Brahe, in his turn, made observations through a bouffant observatory after observing a nova and a comet, he also decided that the old world view was incorrect. However, he propounded that all the planets except the earth moved around the sun and that these, in turn, moved around the earth. Kepler, who was Brahes student, took his teachers research further and made findings that supported a heliocentric view of the solar system. It was, however, Galileo who, by observing the galaxy through his telescope and coming to the conclusion that the stellar bodies did not move around the earth, popularized the Copernican possibleness. The roman type Catholic Church did not pay much attention to Copernicus, as they did not think his findings could damage their worldview. When the Church saw Copernican heliocentric theory being promoted and popularized in the masses by Galileo, it warned him to abstain and later forced him to recant. The Church held the doctrine that the earth was the centre of the universe, both physically and spiritually the immature scientific discoveries laid false this theory and were in direct contrast to the scriptures, that is why the Church felt threatened by their dissemination. The Hermetic beliefs stipulated that there was a universal spirit present in all objects, and that this universal spirit was evident therein. This belief was also held by Kepler, and it was because of it that Kepler studied planetary motion so that he could discover a unifying spirit. Moreover, Paracelsus was an alchemist, and he built his theories upon the ideas stipulated by the ideas propounded by alchemy. He theorized that all matter was made up of three principles salt, atomic number 16 and mercury as opposed to earth, fire, water and air as traditional alchem y laid down. Introduction A super heterodyne receiver is defined as a radio receiver where two signals of radio-frequencies are combined by an action of a heterodyne delivering a signal that exceeds the limit of frequency that is audible. Amplification and demodulation of this produced signal produces a desired signal of audio-frequency. A super heterodyne receiver is also called as superhet (Superheterodyne receiver). The primary objective of super heterodyne receiver is work of an intermediate frequency on a constant basis such that efficiency of amplification and uniform selectivity, along with uniform sensitivity smoke be obtained (Thomas and Sekhar 313). The design of the receiver is usually such that it has a very good power of sensitivity thereby allowing even weak signals to deliver an output that can be considered as significant. However, there are problems with the receiver as well particularly when a strong station is tunes in to by anyone, a lavishly gain occurs as a result o f which amplifiers become overloaded causing poor and distorted intelligence of the receiver to deliver the desired signals (Thomas and Sekhar 313). The present subject field focuses on an understanding the theory and working of the super heterodyne receiver, thereby learning about its circuit, its features, its advantages and disadvantages and its applications. 2. Super Heterodyne Receiver Theory The super heterodyne receiver is one of the most popular radio receivers of the present times. It was invented during the end of the First World War by Edwin Armstrong, an American. Since them the use of the receiver has extensively increase in broadcast radios, televisions, and several other types of receivers. The theory behind the concept of the receiver involves a process of mixing. Two signals are multiplied together by with the use of radio-frequency mixers. With such a multiplication occurring with the signals, there is a direct signal delivered at the input and another produced at the output. The frequencies of the input and the output go away from each other, thereby leading new signals to be formed. Thus if f1 and f2 are two frequencies of the input signal, then the signals that are formed newly reflect frequencies of value (f1+f2) and (f1-f2) (The superhet or superheterodyne radio receiver). This can be explained by an example (The

In addition, VSAM files are used to insert new records into a suitable place in a file as well as the records that follow, which are moved to a new location. The VSAM file is used when there is no need for reorganization (Singh, 2011).The advantage of using a VSAM file is that various datasets are accessed efficiently and apace because of its organization. Through his argument, Mortenson convincingly demonstrates the relevance of the genesis geology today, explains the neat nature of the 19th century debate with regard to postulations made about the age of the universe, dissects new theories about the history of creation, and examines the perceptions and evidence presented by scriptural geologists. In support of the way in which the credibility of scriptural geologists can be affirmed, Mortenson adds strength to the article through giving several illustrations on how spiritual geologists have to be believed by providing examples on how their concern about rejection of early chapters of Genesis has ultimately brought about religious decline of the churc h and moral degeneration of the society especially in the Western countries. On demonstrating the relevance of the early 19th century Genesis-geology debate to today, Mortenson presents his ideas in the most logical way with conciseness and precision. The film was brought in concert by a convention of well acted performers and was very famous for meliorately combining the hilarious performances and the laughter together. I think that a successful drollery movie has to have these important factors.First, it needs to be performed with the perfect sounds elements such(prenominal) as the background euphony and the songs in the movie second, the movie should be brought by some famous figures and directors, which were well-known in the comedy industry to make sure it will have a great hit this time third, thither should be a lot of stupid scenes with nonsense in the movie that will make people laugh their heads off. The movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall won the rosy Trailer Award for Wild Posts in the year 2008 and was nominated for 6 different awards such as the Gol den Trailer Award Best Comedy, and puerileager Choice Comedy Awards. The film is directed by the famous Nicholas Stoller and was written by Jason Segal. The movie was a successful hit and was well know among the teens group as well as the adults group. The main character of the movie rotating shaft, he had the most perfect life that all man wished for which is date the most famous and the hinge uponiest TV star of the convey Crime Scene, Scene of the Crime. But an awful break up which was brought up by now his ex-girl friend, TV star Sarah Marshall Peter felt like he needs to get away from his life and forget everything roughly Sarah, so he dogged to go to Hawaii for a vacation. The problem is Peters ex-girl friend is as well on a trip to Hawaii with his new boyfriend Snow. Peter had to learn to forget the past, stop being a baby, and finally become a man. In the movie, Peter is a sound effect editor for his ex-girlfriends TV show Crime Scene, Scene of the Crime, he was suppo se to do dark and ominous music for the background, later he broke up with Sarah, he was playing lively music for the show, which was a perfect part with sarcastic and dark humor in it. The movie cleverly blends together his act with his music talents.Such as the Dracula puppet song that he sang in front of a crowd of strangers that has no idea what he is doing, as soon as he is finished with the Dracula song the awkward situation that everyone was in total silence was amusing and made the audience privation to laugh without a reason. When Sarah Marshalls new boy friend went on stage and sang her the song Inside You, with the ridicules body movements that he did with the song, the audiences argon usually stunned at first, but as we watch it further, it definitely leads to full of laughter.A world-beaterful comedy should be brought together by a group of well known figures in the comedy industry. Forgetting Sarah Marshall is a perfect example of a good comedy because it was produc ed by four producers, which they were all very famous for being in the comedy business for so long. The exclusive producer Richard Vane was also the producer of Last Holiday (2004), Rodney Rothman who was also the producer for Help Me Help You (2006), and Judd Apatow who was the actor in Pineapple Express (2008). Most importantly, Producer Shauna Robertson. She was the producer for many previous comedy great hits such as the Pineapple Express (2008), Knocked Up (2007), The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005) and Meet the Parents (2000). Jason Segal which was the writer of the film was also the leading actor of the movie. Actress Kristen Bell from the famous TV show Gossip Girl also took part in the movie, as well as Mila Kunis who was the sound for Meg Griffin for Family Guy and Bill Hader from Knocked up. With this impressive group of producers and performers, people will surge into the movie theater as soon as the film is released in the theaters. The most important element for a comedy is it has to have some scene that came out of nowhere and was in all stupid with nonsense. It is very important for a comedy, because people usually watch comedies when they dont want to think about things and just want to enjoy the movie otherwise there is no point of watching it. Forgetting Sarah Marshall is a perfect example because it is filled with nonsense. After breaking up with Sarah, Peter Felt like that he needs to have sex with different women just because his ex-girlfriend is having sex with another guy. After having a one night stand with a women that he uncoverly even known, Peter cried in front of her and was acting totally out of ordinary. Also when the chief invite him to go and prepare dinner with him, they end up chasing a pig and Peter had to kill the pig with his bare hands. Scene in the movie shows much different nonsense that will usually make people laugh from their heart. The movie was loved widely all over the world, but there are still a lot of people who didn t like the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall.A lot of professionals movie critics didnt like the movie because they think that the contents are totally forgettable or they think that it is hard to like a character in the movie, when his own movie makes fun of himself. I disagree with these critics, because there are many scenes in movie that people will not forget after that watched it, and a comedy are usually funny because the main characters were made fun of, either by himself or the other characters in the movie. That is what usually makes a movie a great hit of comedies. Just like what I previously mentioned, forgetting Sarah Marshall includes the perfect factors of sound element, was performed and brought together by a power group of people in the comedy industries, it also includes many stupid senses that people will not forget and will be talking about it among everyone who have watched the movie. This film is a great example of a comedy, and it is only for you to watch it and find out for yourself.
